All Vitamin D os NOT created equal

Very good info on Vitamin D. This is a little dry as it is mostly a scientific type paper, but it does delineate the types of Vitamin D, where they're found, and the fact that if you don'e get 30 minutes of sun on enough of your body at least three times a week, you could be be at risk for deficiency. And Vitamin D is necessary for Calcium absorption...

As someone with chronic deficiency due to absorption issues who takes a damn huge Drisdol bolus weekly to make up for that: thank you for this post. Even if I have a lot of medical resources in my life and generally read NIH memos anyway, you can help other people by spreading this around, too – and having this posted to DW made me remember it was a good idea to remind myself of stuff like this I'd forgotten. :)

I hadn't read the page since the diagnosis!
