I love PNotes, it is an extremely customizable sticky notes program, you can change the background color, font, fonts size and color, note size, and position, the way the date and time are displayed and it even has an audible alarm. doble click on the header and it rolls up out of the way. I have it on my desktop, ans it;s the best darned sticky note program I've ever found. Oh, and if you don't like plain jane notes. There are skins available.
It;s very light on resources and the download file is not huge:)
