But as far as I'm concerned the writers and producers can go to hell. This was the shittiest ending ever, well to me anyway, besides the ending of Angel. That's all I'll say at this point. I don't want to spil it for anyone.

So what did you think of it?

I personally liked it and felt a sense of closure. It's been a week now and I've not had any major 'fridge logic' revelations which made me feel cheated.

I wish I could see it all over for the first time again, but alas tis not to be. I didn't sit there with a sour taste in my mouth feeling like I'd been slapped like the end of BSG that DID feel like a bait and switch of epic proportions. I like that everyone is interpreting the ending slightly differently. I like that it was written in such a way that it COULD be interpreted differently for different viewpoints.

And I am genuinely interested in (respectful) discourse with others about what they felt about the finale. I say respectfully sane, because some fan reaction has made me embarrassed and uncomfortable in it's sheer.. well term like 'emotional rape' etc are just not called for ditto for any fan / fandom who equates their relationship with a form of media to being in a(physically) abusive relationship, just.. NO.
